Responsible Messaging
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. Permission comes first
Collect affirmative, business-specific and channel-specific consent. The signup flow records the disclosure and requires contact verification before a subscriber becomes active. Do not buy lists or upload contacts whose permission you cannot demonstrate. Consent is separate from accepting account terms.
2. Clear offers and sender identity
State who is offering the deal, what it includes, material restrictions, and when it ends. Email offers must include the business’s valid mailing address and a working unsubscribe method. Do not disguise advertising as an account or security notice.
Businesses are responsible for applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM, the TCPA and FCC rules, state telemarketing and consumer-protection laws, and carrier/provider requirements. This page describes product safeguards; it is not a certification or a guarantee of compliance.
3. Timing, opt-outs, and limits
The delivery service rechecks subscription and suppression status before sending. SMS currently uses a 9 a.m.–8 p.m. window in the recorded subscriber time zone, or the business time zone if unavailable. Messages outside that window are skipped. This default does not establish that a recipient’s actual location or every state’s restrictions are satisfied.
Before sending, confirm your audience’s location, permitted contact times, message frequency limits, and any required registrations. Stricter local rules take precedence. Promptly escalate any opt-out received outside the automated flow to hello@promosify.com.
4. US-first availability
Our initial launch is in the United States. Sender approval, carrier registration, and geographic permissions must be in place before a business can send. A country selection or internationally formatted number does not guarantee that messaging is supported there.
Do not use Promosify to market age-restricted or regulated goods without prior written approval and all required controls. We may suspend campaigns that create safety, privacy, or provider-policy concerns.
5. Report unwanted messages or misuse
Email hello@promosify.com with the business name, approximate message time, and a description of the problem. You can include a screenshot after removing unnecessary personal information. Do not email passwords or verification codes.
Use STOP for immediate automated SMS suppression or the email unsubscribe link for that business’s email offers. Support requests are also available if those methods are inaccessible or do not work.
